Thank you.
It's like that, it has a mind of it's own tonight.
If you've heard me tell this story before, you'll have to listen again, but when I first met Glenn, he was at a bar that is no longer around called Bobby's Place, and it was an open mic night.
Wait a minute, that sounds horrible.
The introduction to that story sounds awful.
It doesn't get better.
As [laughs].
No, it does.
As if I just hang around bars that are about to disappear from the face of the earth.
It was a great bar and they had a great open mic, and it was my first time there too.
And I was there with some friends and we were sitting at a table and we saw this homeless guy sitting in the corner, and we were like, "Hey, we really feel bad for that guy.
"We should invite him to come sit at our table."
And so we did, and he talked to us for a little while.
And then all of a sudden he said, "Well, it was nice talking to you.
"I have to get up and play now."
And we didn't realize he had a guitar.
And Glenn got up and played this song, and from then on, I was like really nice to homeless people.
[Glenn laughing] [gentle guitar music] But eventually we met again a random event, not a music event, both our sons were playing baseball.
And there's a spider that keeps coming in my face.
So if you see me doing this, I'm not just losing my mind.
And we've been together for almost 10 years now, right?
That's right, that's true.
Yeah.
Yep.
So, but this was the song that he played that night that I was like, I wanna play with that dude, so.
Yeah, I wasn't homeless, by the way.
I was, [laughs] my wife was out of town with our son on a school trip, and I was at home wondering what should I do tonight?
And I read about this open mic that was going on and I thought I've never done this before, but I'm just gonna go see what's happening at this open mic.
And I went there and I left my guitar in the car actually and went in to see if it was a real thing because this bar did not look like there was an open mic that could ever happen at such a place.
But I went in and there were actually people in there with instruments having a real open mic.
And so, I went back to the car and brought my guitar in and sat down and signed up.
And the rest is history from Chip's point of view.

Well [laughs], thanks, that's cool.
Can you come to all our gigs just so we're?

Maybe eat something, some hot dogs.
Are there still hot dogs, Tom?
TOM: Yeah!
There better be 'cause we're gonna be needing some of those.
