>> WITH 21 HOMICIDES TO DA WITHIN CITY LIMITS THOSE W LIVE HERE ARE CALLING FOR CHANGE.
>> IT IS A VERY POOR CITY, POOREST CITY IN AMERICA.
THERE IS A GREAT INFLUX OF PEOPLE WHO TRANSIT FROM NE YORK AND OTHER PLACES SO T IS A LOT OF VIOLENCE.
>> THE MURDER RATE IS THE HIGHEST IT'S BEEN SINCE 20 THAT YEAR 26 HOMICIDES WER RECORDED.
>> BECAUSE IT IS A SMALL T YOU ARE AWARE OF THE VIOLE SO IT IS NOT LIKE WHEN I L IN NEW YORK THERE WOULD BE VIOLENCE 30 BLOCKS AWAY, H IT IS WITHIN ONE MILE BASI SO IT IS NOT A VERY SAFE C IF YOU'RE IN THE WRONG PLA THE WRONG TIME.
>> WE SAW A SPIKE ESPECIAL THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS IN NUMBER OF VIOLENT SHOOTING THAT HAVE OCCURRED AND STABBINGS AND IT IS ALARMI >> THE BERKS DISTRICT ATT SAYS SINCE 2008 READING HA SEEN 10 TO 15 MURDERS PER THIS YEAR THEY SAW THE SPI AFTER LABOR DAY IN SEPTEM OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER 12 THREE YOUNG ME WERE FATALLY SHOT IN THE 6 BLOCK OF MOSS STREET.

>> ARE YOU GOING TO HAVE P EVERY SINGLE PLACE?
I JUST FEEL IT IS THE COMM THAT NEEDS TO DO MORE.
>> THERE HAS TO BE SAFETY THE COMMUNITY, THERE HAS T EDUCATION.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS A VER PART OF THE VIOLENCE.
THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE DRU EDUCATION INSTEAD OF JUST ARRESTING EVERYONE FOR A S BAG OF MARIJUANA.
THEY NEED TO START GETTING ADDICTS OFF WHICH WOULD CR LESS DEMAND FOR THE DEALER >> THOSE CLOSE TO THE VIOL ARE CALLING FOR RESIDENTS STEP UP.
>> MORE PEOPLE HAVE TO GET INVOLVED.
POLICE DO THEIR BEST WITHO ENOUGH POLICE OFFICERS, TH NEED PEOPLE WHO WILL DO CR WATCHES.
AND THEN REPORT BACK TO TH POLICE.
>> EVERYBODY WANTS TO BLAM POLICE.
IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT.
YOU ALMOST HAVE TO ANTICIP THAT WHEN YOU HAVE THE HIG UNEMPLOYMENT RATE LIKE WE THE CITY.
IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT.
IT IS NOT THE MAYOR'S FAUL NOBODY IS DOING ANYTHING W GENERATING WORK OR EMPLOYM >> ADAMS AGREES TO STOP TH CRIMES A TEAM EFFORT IS NE >> PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THE ANY OF THEM SEE SOMETHING HEAR SOMETHING OR KNOW SOMETHING.
THEY NEED TO COME FORWARD IF WE ARE MISSING ONE PIEC THE PUZZLE IT IS THE PEOPL LIVE IN THIS CITY.
THEY NEED TO COME FORWARD TELL US WHAT THEY KNOW.
TELL US WHAT THEY HAVE HEA TELL US YOU KNOW WHAT THEY AND THAT WILL MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE.
