[jet engine whirring] - [grunts, then laughs] - [sighs] Um, why don'’t I stay in the saucer and, um, command things from here?
Once you guys find out if it'’s hot or cold, I'’ll pass it on to Mindy!
- Great idea, Sean.
You sure you don'’t want to come out with us?
- Let me think.
Yep, I'’m sure.
- Jet, take this laser wand.
It can read outer space temperatures.
Point the laser, and the wand will tell you the temperature.
- Ah, Bortronian technology.
Thanks, Mom!
[spaceship whirring] [brakes screech] [mechanical whirring] - Wow.
I can'’t believe we'’re this close to Saturn!
[ropes sliding] Hmm.
Saturn'’s surface is really cloudy.
We can'’t tell if there'’s anything solid underneath it.
- The clouds look hot to me... - Any hot or cold news?
- Not yet, Mindy!
Getting closer!
Any news, you guys?
[mysterious music] [laser zinging] automated voice: The surface of Saturn is made of gassy chemicals that are very cold.
- Mindy!
The outside of Saturn is cold!
- What?
Really?
Wow!
- Jet, can we find out the temperature-- of what it is on the inside?
- All right!
We'’ll need to get even lower, then!
[ropes sliding] [laser zinging] [electronic powering down] [liquid splashing] [laser zinging] [bell dings] automated voice: The inside, or core, of Saturn is made of molten rock and is very hot.
both: Yeah!
- It'’s official, Mindy.
Saturn is hot inside, cold outside.
- Okay, got it!
Hot inside; cold outside!
Time to bake!
- [muttering indistinctly] Okay, I'’m awake.
