that sucks stuff into it.
Like a vacuum.
- How does it do that?
- And how did it get there?
- And how does my hair look today?
[Sunspot grumbles] Oh.

How black holes work has a lot to do with gravity.
Stars collapse and become black holes-- and the gravity inside of a black hole is so strong, nothing can get out of it.
It can squish a star down to a tiny area.

- Wow, Sean.
That'’s so cool.
How did you learn all this?
- My mom taught me about '’em.
And she said black holes are really far away.

- Heh.
Well, that'’s good.
