- B.
- B, that's right.
My daughter is four years old, so we've been practicing the alphabet.
Being able to recognize letters, and their sounds, is a big plus going into kindergarten.
So we practice on a regular basis.
She loves writing and drawing on a whiteboard.
So I take advantage of that.
I'll point out a letter in a book, or on my phone, and see if she recognizes it.
Now it's her turn to play the teacher.
After telling me which letter it is, she'll write it on the whiteboard.
Hey, Winn, can you draw the letter A?
- Yeah.
- All right.
Let's see.
Awesome job.
What sound does the A make?
I also ask her what words begin with that letter?
- Apple.
- Yeah.
- Addison.
- Yeah, your friend Addison.
We're having lots of fun learning the alphabet because every letter leads us someplace new.
