Special | 6m 54s

From homeless teen to LGBTQ advocate & mother.

Star Palmer was kicked out of her home at the age of 15 because of her sexuality. “My dream is to wake up every day and to be a loving parent, to love my job, to love the difference I’m making, and to leave a legacy,” Star said. Star is pursuing the American dream by working for a nonprofit, because sometimes fulfilling work is worth more than wellpaying work.
