To my dearest-most blue and beautiful sky, Tis I, Hal!
For several weeks now, our neighborhood hasn't had any rain.
If you could rain that would be like totally so, so, awesome.
Love, Your favoritest earthbound admirer, Halbert.
Well that didn't work... My turn!
The machine I'm about to unveil, will propel me into the upper-reaches of the earth's atmosphere!
I give you... (all) Wow.
...the Artificial Rain cloud Project.
[All] Whoa!
Once super high up in the sky, I'll pour water from this can into this rain cloud.
The cloud will then let loose rain!
Or that's my theory anyway!
Alright, let's do this!
Release the balloon!
Well, that didn't work.
Gong!
Gong!
Gong!
Sky spirits, awake!
And cast your precipitation down upon Mother Earth.
Daisy's garden and the lake near Steve's house, it's getting bone dry.
Our plants and animals are thirsty, please, please don't be shy!
And so, great sky spirits, do not refrain...
I implore you once more: Let there be rain!
Squeeks: Really?
Nothing?
Aye yiyi.
Well, you gotta put yourself out there.
Do not despair!
For if there's one thing I dislike more than water, it's seeing my friends or other animals sad or in need.
Thus, I, Nature Cat, shall overcome my fear of water, (for the time being) and single-handedly make it rain!
Okay, ready.
Time to get serious.
Either rain, or reap the consequences.
So do the right thing, and rain - immediately!
Nature Cat: Uh, maybe I haven't made myself crystal clear, but I'd really like... Uhh, Nature Cat, I don't think that's it.
Yep, it says here that there's nothing we can do to make it rain.
It's totally out of our control.
Well, maybe we should figure out how to make the rain water last longer in here than it did last time?
That's it, Hal.
You're a genius!
Mwah!
Why, thank you.
That's the first time this season you called me one!
But we have to figure out how to make the water last longer.
Hm... Yeah, that would've really helped Daisy's rain barrel, and even the lake!
When it hasn't rained in a while, how do you make your water last longer?
Narrator: You say it hasn't rained in a while and you want to make your water last longer?
Yes, that's exactly what we want to know!
Narrator: Great, then we are in sync, Squeeks!
You know me?
Okay... Narrator: It's very important to save the water you have, to conserve water!
I wonder how we do that?
Narrator: Well, Hal, there are plenty of water-saving techniques to use.
Huh.
He knows me too.
Weird.
Hi Narrator!
It's me, Hal.
Ha.
You know that... Narrator: How about turning off the water while brushing your teeth?
Now that's some smart water saving, mister!
And how about taking short showers instead of baths?
Baths use way more water than showers.
So take short showers, stay clean and save water, it's win - win - win, baby!
And hey, let's point out le aks so you can get them all tightened!
Now that's what I call a no-leak zone!
And finally, no more endlessly running hoses and faucets.
Turn them off!
Now, get out there, an d conserve some water!
Those are amazing ideas!
