Pearl was right.
I've seen what the future holds, and 50 years from now, unless we stop wasting water, Canalia will dry up.
>> Oh, my goodness.
>> Do we have to stop using water?
>> What will we drink?
>> Everyone, stay calm.
We don't have to do anything drastic.
If we just make a few small changes, we can make a big difference.
>> Let's do it.
>> But how?
>> If you shut off the water when you brush your teeth, you can save 2 gallons of water a day.
>> And if you cut your shower time by just 2 minutes every day, you can save 4 gallons of water.
>> Fixing your leaky faucets can save even more gallons of water every single day.
>> Using a broom instead of a hose to clean your sidewalk can save even more water each and every day.
>> Put a rain barrel under your drain pipe.
You'll be surprised how much water you'll save.
>> Check it out, Pearl.
The rain from the roof filled four big rain barrels.
>> Yeah!
And water from a rain barrel can be used for other things, like watering your flowers.
>> And washing your dog.
>> Saving your extra water instead of pouring it out is another good way to conserve.
>> If you water your lawn, you can save even more by running your sprinklers at night so the water doesn't evaporate in the hot sun.
♪♪ >> Oh, Canalia is so pretty.
>> And now it will stay that way.
>> All because of you, Pearl.
>> Thanks so much for your help, you guys.
