Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorshipHello and welcome to the 2022 Pennsylvania State Championship of Scholastic Scrimmage.
I'm your host, David Graf.
This state-wide match will feature the champions of the three PBS member stations in Pennsylvania that hold Scholastic Scrimmage tournaments in their viewing area.
The three schools and their stations are Cranberry High School, representing WQLN, in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Milton High School, from WVIA, in the Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre area, and Moravian Academy, winners of the PBS39 tournament, representing the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania.
With three schools participating simultaneously, the match will look a bit different from what you're used to viewing.
Every question will be a toss-up with no follow-up bonus questions.
On the left of the screen, you and I, the viewers, will see the first five students to buzz in.
I'll call the names of the students and the school of the student who buzzed in first and they will have a chance to answer.
If they answer incorrectly, I will go to the next student who buzzed in from the next school.
