SHE WANTED TO FIND OUT HOW CHIMPANZEES COMMUNICATE.
SO SHE MOVED TO AFRICA AND WENT DEEP INTO THE JUNGLE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT HOW THEY LIVED--STUDYING THEM, OBSERVING THEM, AND JUST PLAIN HANGING OUT IN THE FOREST WITH THEM.
SOUNDS KIND OF FUN, HUH?
WELL, SHE OBSERVED THEIR BEHAVIOR, HOW THEY COMMUNICATED, IF THEY WERE HUNGRY, ANGRY, SCARED, OR HAPPY.
