- Hi, it's me, Zee.
So you know how people come in all shapes and sizes?
Well, sharks are the same way.
Sure, lots of other sharks are big and swim around the ocean to look for food, but we zebra bullhead sharks can also walk on the ocean floor to look for food.
And speaking of looking, did you know sharks can also see using electroreception, which is a sense that detects the electric energy that comes from other creatures?
So it's like I can see you with my eyes closed!
- Oh, hi, it's Denny.
I'll bet you know lots of people with very important jobs.
Well, cleaner shrimp like me also have a very important job.
Cleaner shrimp help other ocean creatures get rid of dangerous parasites, clean up their scales, or tend to any cuts or scrapes they may have.
Sometimes they even line up to see us at our cleaning stations.
We cleaner shrimp can even clean teeth.
So in many ways, coming to see us is kind of like going to the dentist.
- Hey, it's me, Ripple.
How would you like to eat as much as you wanted?
Well, that would hurt your stomachs, but Barbour's sea horses like me don't have stomachs, which means that we're always a little hungry and have to keep eating lots of yummy food all the time.
Sea horses have a very strong grip.
We can grab on to things with our tails just like you do with your hands.
So if a strong tide comes in, we just grab on to something so we won't float away.
See?
Whoo-hoo!
[laughs]
