All right, Bubbles pulls ahead, and she is ready to take her place as the greatest of all--whoa!
[groaning] - [panting] I'm gonna make it.
I'm gonna make it.
Ooh, ooh.
- What?
- Hey, I tapped the finish line rock.
I can't believe I won!
- Yeah, way to go, Dunk.
You did it, buddy.
- Yeah, you said it would happen one day.
I didn't believe it, but here we are.
- Uh, do-over.
I want a do-over.
- A do-over, why?
- Well, I ran into that coral, and then I landed in that mud pit.
If it weren't for that, I would have won.
- Yeah, but if it wasn't for the rock I almost ran into, I would have won.
- Exactly.
Do-over.
- But those mistakes were kind of our fault.
- Ah-- Oh.
I didn't think of it like that.
Uh, congratulations, Dunk.
- Yeah, way to go, buddy.
- I love winning.
Oh.
Hey, guys, wait for me.
- Ha ha, boy, that was fun.
- Maybe next time we race, we should race in the open ocean.
When we race around here, there's a lot of obstacles in our way.
- [gasps] Dunk, that is a great idea!
- I knew it.
What's a great idea?
- Obstacles.
Let's use obstacles as part of our race.
Oh, but-but not like these rocks.
I mean lots of obstacles.
both: [gasp] Obstacle course!
- Yeah.
- Yeah, obstacle course.
I love it.
What's that again?
- Oh, well, it's where you race around or through a bunch of obstacles, like shells or coral, and the fastest fish wins.
- I can't wait!
Where is this obstacle course?
- I don't know.
I thought maybe you would.
- Gush has lived here for a long time.
Maybe he knows where there's an obstacle course.
- Dunk, another great idea!
[chuckles] Come on, buddy.
- I'm on a roll!
[laughter] - Hey, Gush.
- Gush!
- Gush!
- Gush, I won the race!

- Do you know where one is?
- I won-- - Gush-- - Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what--what?

- Hey, Gush.
- What's happening?
- Oh, well, we need help.
- We need help, and I won the race, I won the race.
- And Dunk won the race-- - Okay, all right.
Congratulations on winning your race, Dunk.
Now I think I heard something about needing help finding an obstacle course.
- Yeah, do you know where there's an obstacle course around here?
- Do I know where an obstacle course is?
Ha ha, why, kids, you're talking to none other than Golden Legs Gush himself.
all: Huh?
- Kids, when I was your age, I was one of the finest, if not these finest obstacle course racers in Reeftown history.
- Wait.
You were a racer?
- You raced obstacle courses?
- You were our age?
- Right, right and right again.
- But, Gush, aren't frogfish like you kinda, uh-- well, what's the word I'm looking for?
- Slow?
- Yeah, hey, that's the one.
It just seems like frogfish kinda stay in one spot all day napping and not really going anywhere.
- That's true, Gush.
Whenever we ask you to go anywhere you're always like, "Hey, kids, I'm super smart, "and I always know what you need to know.
"But I just like laying around on the sand "and waiting for my lunch to swim by.
Yum, yum, yum, yum."
- Well, that's me all right.
Not bad, Dunk.
You been practicing that?
- A little.
You should hear my Mayor Sting.
[laughter] - Anyway, you are right on the money, Splash.
Frogfish aren't usually fast, but that's how we trick our food.
You think we're napping, and then suddenly we can move very fast... [all gasp] in short bursts, like when it's feeding time or, say, an obstacle course.
- But how?
- Well, fin fact, only we frogfish have gill slits that can make us move very, very quickly.
- Gill slits.
Ooh, ooh, I have those too.
Hey, check it out.
- Yes, you do, but our-- - Yeah, and I also have gill slits.
- Yeah.
- Me too.
- That's right.
- Maybe I'll be a great obstacle course racer, too!
- [chuckling] Well, only one way to find out.
Let's go to the obstacle course.
- You're coming too, Gush?
- You kidding?
I wouldn't miss it.
It's right over there.
- Ooh, let's go.
- I'm right behind you.
- Okay.
- Oh, okay, let's go.
- There we go.
- Gonna win.
I'm gonna win.
- [groans] - Hurry up, Gush!
[laughter] Uh, Gush, is this obstacle course far?
- Far?
It's been right under your gills the whole time.
We're going to Dolphin Canyon.
all: Huh?
- Wait, what?
- Dolphin Canyon is just part of the reef.
- Oh, oh, is it?
I guess that depends on how you look at it.
Why don't you, uh, take another look?
- Okay, uh-- [all gasp] - Wow.
- It is an obstacle course!
- This is amazing.
- How you doing, old friends?
Ah, it's been a long time, but you look as good as ever.
- I've never seen this before.
[laughter] It is gonna be so much fun.
- Look at that over there.
- Wow.

Ah, ooh.
All right, here's Gush.
Okay, remember the fish who can race the obstacle course the fastest wins.
- Ha ha!
Me first, me first.
- Whoa there.
Before you dive right in, you should know that this is the hardest obstacle course I have ever raced.
- Ooh, boy, I love a challenge.
- So before you-- - Here I go!
- Whoa, Bubbles, wait just-- Oh, there she goes.
- Whoo-hoo!
I do not know what Gush was talking about.
This is not so baaaad-- Okay, all right.
Whoo!
All right, I'm gonna do-- whoa!
- Careful.
- Whoa.
- Oh, oh.
- Wh-whoa!
- Whoa, oh, Bubbles, are you okay?
- Ehhh.
Yeah.
Oh, boy, I think I made the wrong turn somewhere in that thing with the thing in it.
- You mean the rock wall with the holes in it?
- Yeah, I don't know.
I guess.
Gush was right.
This obstacle course is tough.
- Well, as the official winner for today's race, let me show you how it's done.
- Uh, but-but, Dunk, be careful.
I mean, that's the first race you've ever won.
- Whoo!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm on a hot streak now.

My friend's in trouble!

[chuckles] Yeah, all right.

- Hi, Splash.
- Whoa!

I'm going in a cave.

- [gasps] - Excuse me.

[grunting] Whoa!
- Oh, are you okay there, Splash?
- [groans] I'm fine, I just-- I gotta go help Dunk.
He's stuck and he's probably scared.
- No, it's all right.
These rock walls actually have a pretty nice view.
- Ah, you see?
He's terrified!
- Splash, I think this obstacle course is a little too hard for you kids.
- What?
- You need more practice before you can handle this.
- But-- - I'll get Dunk.
- Wait, you?
But, Gush, we're young and fast, and even we couldn't do it.
- Yeah, I mean, uh-- - Oh, don't worry about old Gush.
You kids may have youth on your side, but I have something even more valuable: Experience.
Ha ha!
Not to mention my turbo boost.
- Oh, okay.
Just be careful, Gush.
- Hmm.
- [gasps] Wow!
- I'm coming, Dunk!
- Ooh.
Thanks, Gush.
- I can't believe this.
- Look at him go!
- What?
- Amazing.
Wow!
Yeah, go, Gush, go!
- Ha ha!
- Oh, Gush, that was amazing.
- Yeah, obstacle course is so hard.
How did you do that?
- Yeah?
- How did you swim so fast?
- Well, like I was saying earlier, I've got a trick up my sleeve.
I can be pretty fast when I want to be, all because my gill slits are behind my fins.
- So wait, your gills make you fast?
All they ever do is help me breathe.
- Oh, mine do that, too.
But because my gill slits are located behind my fins, all I have to do is take in a big gulp of water, and when I push it out of my gills, it propels me forward and... off I go!
- Oh, wow!
[laughter] There he goes again.
- Whoa!
- Whoo!
- Oh, yeah!
- And that's why they used to call me Golden Legs Gush.
- Used to?
Ha, you're still Golden Legs Gush to us.
You are the best!
- You sure are.
- Ah, thanks, kids.
It sure is nice to know I still got it in me.
Ah, at least a little, anyway.
- Ah, you definitely do.
Ha ha!
Hey, you should take a victory lap.
- Oh, good idea.
[yawns] I'd love a victory nap.
all: Awww.

Oh, oh, I can't wait to try this course again.

- Oh, yeah?

Nobody can beat Big Time Bubbles.
- Everybody make way for Dunk the Dynamo!
- Oh, yeah!
[laughter] - And now it's time to... ♪ ♪ - Hm...still needs something.
[gasps] Maybe a pebble?

- Hey, what are you doing, Dunk?
- Being a good host!
Today's the day my cousin comes to visit!
- Oh, right.
That's great!
So, when's the last time you saw him?
- Way back when he was just a baby.
He's probably as big as me now!
- Ah!
- I just hope he has a good time here.
- [laughs] So what're you doing now?
- Making sure I have enough room in my cave.
Mo's going to want to sleep where I sleep.
- Well, will Mo want to eat what we eat?
- Of course.
He's my cousin.
He'll eat exactly the same food.
It's gonna be so much fun having Mo here!
Oh, but I hope he likes it!
Do you think he'll like it here?
He's never lived in a reef before!
- Of course he'll like it here because you'll be here.

- Yeah?

They grow 'em big on my side of the family.

These are my friends, Splash, Ripple, and Bubbles.

You're a Mola mola, or an ocean sunfish, right?

And since Mola mola's and puffer fish are like cousins, you're both round and smiley!

- Yeah, ocean sunfish and their relatives can even live in very different places in the ocean.
And one can grow very big, and others can stay Dunk-size.

- Well, we usually just eat algae and plankton and little things like that.
- [whispering] I thought you said he liked exactly what you eat.
- Well, there may be some differences, but part of being a good host, Ripple, is finding out what your guest likes to eat!
- Oh, well, please don't trouble yourselves.
I'd love to try eating what you guys eat.
- Probably enough food here to feed everyone on the reef.

- One word for all that: delicious!
[snorting and chomping] all: Whoa!
- So, that was a good little snack.
It should keep me until dinner!
Hey, aren't you guys hungry?
- Well, uh, we were until-- - Shhh!
- Oh, uh, come to think of it, I'm actually pretty full.
- Yeah, me too.
- Yeah, I couldn't eat another bite.
- Not that there is another bite.

[both groan] - Well, now that we've eaten, how about we get some exercise?
It's what we usually do after lunch!
- Sure, we could do that, or... - Or we could do whatever you usually do after lunch?
- Well I usually take a brief post-lunch nap.
Then I have enough energy for my mid-afternoon snack.
- Huh?

- Not a problem!

Maybe we should start gathering up some more algae!
- Oh, you guys are the best.
You've made me so comfortable, I could just... [snoring] - That was quick.

I get parasites all over me, and boy, do they itch.

- Well, I'm used to the big, open ocean.
There's so much room out there for me to swim and soak up the sun and not bump into things!
