The Cowboys of Color Rodeo is a multicultural rodeo that educates about the roles of black, Mexican and Native American cowboys in the west. The rodeo was started by Cleo Hearn an African American Cowboy who wanted to foster a more inclusive environment in the sport of rodeo. His mission was to educate youth about the sport and bring it to the African American community.
