With over 50 Nativity Miguel Schools in US & Canada there is now one in Lackawanna County

In 1971, on the lower east side of Manhattan, a group of Jesuits opened a middle school to serve the growing numbers of Latino immigrants settling in the area. Their approach proved so successful that catholic educators adopted the model and spread it across the country. There are over 50 Nativity Miguel schools in the United States and Canada, and now there is one in Lackawanna County.
