Let's read the title of this book.

We need to jump into this book... and find the answer to Pig's problem!
First, we look for Super Letters.
And then, put them in - our Super Duper Computer.
Super Duper Computer, how many Super Letters do we need?
[SFX: blinking] In this story, we need 9 Super Letters!
And then, we will get our Super Story Answer!

♪♪ The Alphabet didn't want to be in the parade.
We like being letters.
But... letters don't do that much.
No, we don't.
All we do is - make sounds.
The alphabet was having a sad day.
We're so sad... [sighs, mutterings] Oh no, the alphabet feels sad.
And that, Super Readers, is why we are in this book.
Pig and the Alphabet letters are all sad!
We need to talk to the Alphabet.
But, where are they?
C'mon - let's go find that alphabet!
Ruff!

Hel-lo!
Letters!
Ruff!
Hmmm.
Over here?
Letters...where are you?
No.
Not over here.
Where could it be?
Ruff!

Oh!
Hi, YOU.
You're not a letter!
[sniffing] Wrowr!
Do you see the Alphabet?
KIDS: There!
[gasp!]
Oh my peas!
They're LEAVING in that boat!

The Alphabet can't leave Alphabet City!
No alphabet, no parade!
We need to get across that lake to get to the Alphabet, but how?

Alpha Pig... to the rescue!
With my amazing alphabet tools, I can make a bridge to get across the lake!
Will you help me?

Now we need to find all the letters in the word, BRIDGE.
First we need the letter B.

Next we need the letter R. Where's the R?

KIDS: There!

Now I need the letter D. Do you see the D?

Ok, now the G. Where's the letter G?
KIDS: There!

And the last letter is... E!
Where's the E?
KIDS: - I see it!

Now, read with me: B-R-I-D-G-E. BRIDGE!
Lickety Letters!
We found the letters and built a bridge!
Now we can get the Alphabet!
Let's give ourselves a big thumbs up!
Over the bridge and to the Alphabet we go!
Don't forget to look for Super Letters.
[giggles] You see Super Letters?

Wait, what?

With my doggie dictionary I can tell you what any word means!
'Important'.
'Important' means...
Needed.
Special.
Cannot be without.
Like a doctor.
Doctors are important because they keep us healthy and safe.
'Important'!
Now we know what it means.
Woof-de-doo!
Give your tail [pants] a wag!
Ohhhh, the Alphabet is SOOO important!
But we don't, y'know... feel important.
All we do is make sounds.

Hmmm.
What is so special about that!?
It makes me so sad.
[cries] So very, very sad... [sniffles] [crying] [sniffs] Oh it makes me sad too!
But, guys, don't you see?
I made the word BRIDGE with alphabet letters!
And that's what helped us get across the lake!
Huh.
That does seem... kind of important.
It is very important!
So, if letters made the word 'bridge'... does that mean we can make other words too?
Yes!
Yes!
You totally can!
Right guys?
YES!

We want to make words!

Look at our story!
The Alphabet makes sounds.
