T is for Tools is about a girl who is riding her bike with her mom and brother when her seat becomes too wobbly. They decide to stop by her dad's work to get her bike fixed with one of his many tools. She looks through the tools in her dad's toolbox with him and finds the perfect wrench. Together, he helps her adjust the seat and she learns about how helpful tools can be.

My name is Waimanu.
I love riding my bike near the river with my mum and my brother.
But my seat is wobbly.
We are close to where my dad works and he has lots of tools.
Maybe he has a tool that can help me fix my bike.
My dad and grandad are artists and they carve beautiful things out of wood.
It takes a long time to learn to carve.
And Dad is very careful with the sharp chisels.
♪ ♪ Grandma: Tena koe, Waimanu.
Grandpa: Tena koe , Waimanu.
Waimanu: We live in New Zealand and that's how we say "hello" in Maori.
Dad helped me find the right tool to fix my bike.
There are lots of other tools here too.
There are screwdrivers, hammers, and wrenches.
This wrench is the perfect size to help me fix my seat so it doesn't wobble.
I put the wrench around those nuts and tighten it!
♪ ♪ Tools can help with so many things.
They can help make beautiful art and they can help fix things that are wobbly.
