Teresa Scribner, Cleveland STEM HS, tells her students to never take “no” for an answer. “The most important thing I teach them is to be good citizens, and good citizens ask strong questions,” she says. “They're exposed to so many different viewpoints. And if you can’t leave school without being a better citizen, then we haven’t done our job.”
