Welcome to Hat Chat!
Today we're interviewing a skunk... Why do you have clothespins on your noses?
Because... Skunks are kinda stinky.
We most certainly are not!
Go ahead.
Take a whiff.
Hey, you don't smell bad at all.
See - I can make a doozy of a stink if I have to, but I really try not to.
Because when I do... whoooooeeeeee does it stink!
So why would you make a stink?
Oh, mostly to scare somebody away if they're being mean to me, or if they're trying to steal my dinner or something.
Then you blast 'em!
No.
First I give them plenty of warning.
Like this: Okay.
So if you see a Skunk - back away!
And if he sprays, you'll stink for days!
