The Ruff Ruffman Show!
With Blossom and Chet.
Yeah!
♪ ♪ Hey, check it out, Blossom.
I've activated the Nifty Informative Knowledge App: NIKA!
NIKA: How is your day today, Rolf?
It's Ruff, actually.
I am sorry to hear your day has been rough, Rolf.
Ah, moving on.
(iBone ringing) Hey Ruff, hey Scruff.
Are you ready to make the next course for our party?
The Ruffet Food Delivery Service is standing by!
The Scruffet Food Delivery Service will not disappoint... ...this time.
We want a duck.
Well, not an actual duck, just an egg meal in the shape of a duck because our friend really likes ducks.
No problem!
I know just what to do.
And I know what to do even more.
We can't wait!
Thanks, kids.
I have no idea what to do.
Oh!
But I've got NIKA.
NIKA, how can I make eggs that are duck-shaped?
"How to get a duck in shape."
Ordering ducks and exercise equipment now.
Wait, what?
(doorbell rings) (quacking) Not what I had in mind.
Hey, a duck-shaped pie pan!
Nice work, Blossom!
I'm boiling some eggs in this pot.
If I can just get past these ducks... Get out of the way, ducks!
(ducks quacking) Once we peel them, we'll have just what they wanted.
(quack) A duck-shaped food!
What do you think, guys?
I'll send it right over.
Ruff, those aren't duck-shaped eggs, those are egg-shaped eggs in a duck-shaped pan.
Maybe if you started with raw eggs... Oh, raw, huh?
Okay, it's worth a try.
Crack a few into this bowl, a little mixing, and, hey, look at that!
Yeah, the eggs fill the pan all the way to the edges.
NIKA, why did the raw eggs fill the shape of the pan?
"Ordering sheep and pandas."
RUFF: No, no... "Shape of the pan."
"Grape jam."
RUFF: No, no, no, no, no...
There's pandas and sheep and jam everywhere!
Blossom, help!
(electronic cranking) RUFF: Oh, Blossom, save me.
Blossom, what are you doing?
Oh...
So, what you're saying is the eggs take the shape of the pan because raw eggs are liquid.
That makes sense.
Solid things, like animal crackers, keep their shape no matter what container they're in.
See?
They kept the same shape.
RUFF: Yup!
But liquids change shape depending on what container they're in.
RUFF: Okay...
BOY: You see, before it was pitcher-shaped, now it's glass shaped.
RUFF: Yeah!
The ketchup in my Abraham Lincoln Commemorative Ketchup Bottle is shaped just like the 16th president, but yet not these pickles.
Hmm...good point, Blossom.
If I turned this pan over on a plate, the eggs wouldn't keep their duck shape.
A recipe for a frittata?
Huh, it's a kind of baked-egg casserole.
It says if we cook it for 30 minutes, the eggs will become solid.
(beeping) That means they'll hold their duck shape even if we dump it on a plate!
(ticking) (quacking) Check it out!
The eggs are now solid.
But will they keep their duck shape even after I plop them on a plate?
Yes!
It's still a duck!
All right, guys, I'm having Chet speedy-deliver this frittata straight to you!
Well, I'm just about to send my glued-together-hard-boiled- egg-duck thing to you too!
Uh... or not.
Looks like Ruffet Food Delivery Service wins this round.
SCRUFF: Rats!
NIKA: Better luck next time, Scrolf.
Uh, it's Scruff.
