After falling ill at a grouse shooting, Poirot rallies himself and solves a complex case.
Poirot accompanies Hastings on a grouse shoot at the estate of a friend's uncle. When the uncle is slightly injured by an accidental shot to his hand, the hunt ends abruptly. Poirot falls ill, and later that same night, a murder occurs at the hunting lodge. Poirot rallies himself to assist Japp and shows himself to be the most proficient hunter of them all.
