Introducing a thing... Hello!
Or two... Hello!
..about making shade.
Yay!
When Thing 2 and Thing 1 spend a day in the sun, they start feeling too hot to enjoy all the fun.
Oof!
So, Thing 2 and Thing 1 know what has to be done.
They need something to give them some shade from the sun.
Aha!
But now, what can they use to block out the sun's light?
Ta-da!
What about this clear glass?
Do you think that it might?
Aha!
(Groaning) Hmm, I guess not.
Ooh!
Aha!
This glass isn't quite clear.
You can just see Thing 2.
You think that the sunlight will still shine right through?
(Chattering) Oh!
Hmm, a little bit of shade but still not enough.
Oh, oh!
(Chattering) Aha!
You found something that keeps you from seeing Thing 2.
Will it also block sunlight from shining right through?
(Thing 2 moaning) Oh?
Ah!
So, now the Things know, and I guess so do you, if you can see through, then the sun shines through too!
And that's a thing or two about making shade.
Phew!
I could use a little of that!
Ah!
