Introducing a Thing... (Chattering) or Two... (Chattering) ..about sorting.
THINGS: Yay!
Now, Thing 1 and Thing 2 have some sorting to do, but they don't know the best way to sort things, do you?
Huh?
Should they sort by the color of each of their toys?
Do-do-do, do-do do-do!
(Chattering) Huh?
Should they sort things that do or do not make a noise?
Huh?
(Thing 2 blowing horn, Thing 1 shouting) Oh!
Should they sort things by shape?
This is round, and that's square.
(Both groaning) BOTH: Oh!
Or sort things that do or don't fly through the air.
They could separate toys that are large, or are small.
Oh!
(Popping) (Chattering) Aw, now, Things.
Have you given up sorting at all?
Oh, aha!
(Chattering) It's so good to be hearing that happy Thing sound.
What is it?
What new way to sort have you found?
BOTH: Ta-da!
Aha, so now they know just what they both need to do.
Sort out which toys belong to Thing 1 or Thing 2.
Now, Thing 1 and Thing 2 are so pleased to report, there are so many ways in the world you can sort.
