I'm on my way.
Helping kids who've been trafficked take steps toward a normal life is not easy, but it is the job of Jasmine McDonald and her team of caseworkers.
Some of the challenges that we see are housing, they don't have that community, then they go back to what they know or what's familiar.
And that can be a trafficking situation.
This is our Hope Market.
Oh, We have different self-care and hygiene items.
So some of them may be in shelters and may be missing shampoo.
When we hear some of the negative connotations that we hear about people that have been trafficked or exploited, I, I get to see it on the flip side and be like, wow, like, you really utilize that skill to survive in that moment.
I can think of one client in particular.
She just recently sent me a message of her graduating from college.
And yet there have been ver difficult and tragic situations.
my first client that passed away, I have her her birthday on my calendar and I celebrate it every year.
that's really hard.
Fortunately, Grace, who had been trafficked for nine years, got the support she needed.
