Avi and Julie Israel’s story about their son Michael's addiction and its tragic end.

Avi and Julie Israel’s story about their son Michael reminds us how tragically an addiction can end. Michael was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease when he was only 12 years old. With proper management of this disease, he had a bright future. Due to lack of communication between his doctors and lack of education on the part of both Michael and his parents it quickly led him spiraling into addiction.
