There's new hope in the quest to save valued hemlock trees from an invasive species.

Research using the predator beetle offers new hope in the battle to save the state's hemlock trees from the invasion of woolly adelgid, an invasive species that is devastatingly wiping out the hemlock tree population across the South, which matters because the hemlock is important for having a healthy forest.
