The treelined streets are beautiful, and they have a different look with each changing season.
The long hot summer had come to an end, and it was time to begin a new school year.
Greggory picked up Reggie.
They slapped a high five and continued on to school.
Megg, Seggourney, Reggie and Greggory met up before school.
They began to discuss their summer adventures.
(children shouting) - We went to the water park.
It was so much fun.
- We went to a horse farm, and I learned to gallup for the first time.
- [Narrator] The eggs continued to share their summer adventures.
But soon the bell rang, and it was time to enter the classroom.
(children chatting) The teacher, Ms. Poach, walked in.
She addressed the class.
- Welcome students.
This is going to be an awesome year.
- [Narrator] Reggie and Greggory looked around the room.
They spotted their two best friends, Megg and Seggourney.
They waved and smiled and were so happy to see each other.
But there was a new egg in town this year, and he did not look happy.
(Benedict sighs) Soon it was time for lunch.
(bell rings) - It's so great to see you guys.
- Wow, Greggory, you've grown at least an inch.
(children laughing) - Stop laughing so loud.
You're bothering me.

What's your name?
- Benedict.
- Okay, Benedict.

- What do you think is wrong with him?
- I don't know, but I think we should try to find out.

- [Narrator] The eggs all agreed to try and help Benedict.
(clock tolling) The next day, however, Benedict did not come to school.
- I'm worried about Benedict.
His behavior was strange yesterday when he ran away.
Let's ask Reggie and Greggory to go with us to Benedict's house after school to see if he's okay.
- I know which house is his.
It's the pretty blue one around the corner.
I saw the moving van there when I came home from camp this summer.
- [Narrator] After school, the eggs arrived at Benedict's house.
(doorbell rings) - Wait, don't shut the door.
We just want to talk to you.
- Well, what is it?
- Benedict, why are you so sad and angry?
We know you're new here and we want to be your friends.
Please help us to understand what's wrong.
When you ran off yesterday, we were worried about you.
- [Narrator] Benedict felt bad and began to explain.
- My dad got a new job, and we had to move to Albumen over the summer.
I had to leave my home and all my friends.
I miss them very much.
I was mean to you yesterday because I thought that if I made friends with you, I might have to leave you someday, and it would hurt again.
I don't want that to happen.
- [Narrator] Reggie offered him some advice.
- Benedict, a few years ago, I had to move to Albumen because my mom got a new job.
I missed my friends too.
But then something wonderful happened.
I met Greggory and then Seggourney and Megg.
I understand that my mom had to take a new job and I'm sure that you understand that your dad did too.
It will all work out.
New experiences can be really fun.
- But what if this happens again?
What if I have to move again?
- Benedict, you don't have to worry about that now.
You just got here, and I bet you'll be here for a long time.
- [Narrator] Then Seggourney offered even more advice.
- And even if you had to move again, you'll never be able to forget us.
We will always keep in touch, like you can with your old friends.
We will help you write to them, okay?
But for now, let's play tag.
You're it!
- [Narrator] A feeling of relief came over Benedict.
- I think this will be a good place to live if I give it some time.
(light cheerful music) - [Voice-over] Thanks for watching and thanks for being a good egg.
