Frank Murphy interviews Aram Demirjian, who became music director of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra in 2016 when he was 30 years old. Maestro Demirjian has led the orchestra to new artistic heights and national distinction. In 2020, Aram received the Sir Georg Solti Conducting Award, given each year to a young American conductor. In 2022, Aram announced he is cancer-free.
