- [John] And I'm Chief Master Sergeant John Alsvig, Command Chief at the academy.
- [Tony] As we celebrate this holiday season and look forward to a new year, we are reminded of the rich history and heritage of our Air Force and how we stand on the shoulders of giants of those who paved the way for us.
- [John] Since before the Air Force's founding in 1947, air power was a powerful tool in our nation's defense.
The Air Force Academy has produced airmen and now guardians who've served with honor in every conflict since the first graduating class of 1959.
- [Tony] At the Academy, we continue to develop war fighters, leaders, and critical thinkers to lead our nation's Air Force and Space Force in defense of our great nation.
- [John] As a tribute to our military members and their families, we present this holiday production, performed by our talented airmen in the Air Force Academy Band.
Our band was established in 1955 to showcase excellence and professionalism while promoting morale and inspiring patriotism and service.
- [Tony] Let us also remember those wearing our nation's uniform and their families who continue to serve around the world to preserve our freedom while reassuring our partners and allies of our nation's commitment to our shared interests.
- [John] Whatever family traditions you celebrate, we hope this year's show brings you some holiday spirit and joy.
- [Tony] As our gift to you, we invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the Holly and Ivy concert from our very own Air Force Academy Band, the greatest band in the land.
On behalf of all the cadets, faculty, and staff at the United States Air Force Academy, happy holidays.
