Years before, in high school, I was a musician, played in rock and roll bands, and wound up being on Teen Tempos at Channel 3.
Teen Tempos was an hour-long Saturday afternoon dance party, teen dance party show that ran for years and years and years.
And Wayne had been a cameraman.
He was the part time cameraman on Saturdays at Channel 3.
He was a real Frank Zappa head, and he used to wear a Pipco baseball jersey, just like the one Frank had on the cover of Lumpy Gravy.
And that was the first thing I noticed about Wayne was that he had to be a freak because he was into Zappa like I was.
