During the 2014 mid-term elections, Washington, D.C. voted to allow people over 21 years old to posses up to two ounces of marijuana for personal use and grow up to six cannabis plants in their home. The vote also allows for the transfer of up to one ounce of marijuana to another person, but not to sell it. Some have lauded this result -- others aren't so happy.
