Starting in 1977, former Nebraska Volleyball head coach Terry Pettit made an intentional effort to grow the sport of women’s volleyball in our state. By the time he retired in 1999, the Godfather of Volleyball left a strong foundation for high school, club, and college coaches to build upon in the 21st century.
