New York via San Francisco's Weekend had one of our favorite albums from 2013, "Jinx". They had cleaned up their sound a little from their excellent not Huey Lewis' "Sports" from 2010 and explored different influences. The result was a little less noisy, maybe a little more shoegazey, tighter and probably poppier on some levels. Pretty great on every level.
