The endangered hellbender salamander is getting a new lease on life.

The scientists at the St. Louis Zoo are working with endangered hellbender salamander to improve their dwindling numbers. After 10 years, they have finally been able to get the salamanders to reproduce in captivity - hatching thousands of babies.
