Marine scientists at the University of South Florida have new ways of counting fish.
As a professor and researcher at the University of South Florida’s College of Marine Science, Dr. Steven Murawski leads a team of experts and students in the use of C-BASS (Camera Based Assessment Survey System), a device with 6 cameras that is deployed over reefs and other marine habitat to provide fast and accurate information concerning species, density and size of fish.
