[fanfare] [Oona] Welcome to headquarters - The Elevator.
[bell dings] Howdy do, agents.
Behold the Odd Squad elevator.
Established in the year 2017, it has zero historical value.
But, it'll get you where you need to go.
Here's how you use it.
We use this screen to figure out which floor we want to go to.
Right now we're on the ground floor, floor zero.
Everything above the ground floor is a number larger than zero, a positive number.
And everything below ground floor is a number smaller than zero.
A negative number.
Say we want to take a trip to floor negative two.
Since negative two is below zero, it's below the zero on the number line.
Right...here.
[gentle music] Here we are, [bell dings] floor negative two, the stick floor.
Now let's take a little ride up to one of my favorite floors, floor number two.
That's positive two, not negative two.
So, it's right here.
[gentle music] [bell dings] The marshmallow floor.
Don't mind if I do.
[sniffs] Ah... You can really smell the marsh.
And now, our last stop, floor negative five, way below the zero, down here.
[gentle music] [bell dings] The cave floor.
I just put this on like this... then I signal the dragon.
[squawks] [roaring] My marshmallow is perfectly toasted.
Delicious.
Would you like some, Mr. Dragon?
[roars] That means no, that definitely means no.
