In less than three weeks Michigan voters will decide if Proposal 1’s sales tax increase is the best way to fix the state’s roads and bridges. The sales tax would increase from 6 to 7-percent generating $1.3 billion dollars a year over the next 10 years. But it’s not as simple as that.
