Monday, December 17, 2012, WGVU Public Media kicks-off its 40th Anniversary.

The first station, WGVC-TV 35 signed on the air on December 17, 1972 with one channel for four hours per day. oday, WGVU Public Media is proud to offer two television stations each with four program streams. WGVU-HD 35.1/52.1 television signal proudly serves over 2.5 million viewers in 28 counties 24 hours a day.
