SALLY: Cool!
It looks like one of those wheels that pet hamsters run in.
And running is great exercise!
I'm gonna try it!
Huh.
The wheel won't turn.
A wheel that won't spin, oh, that simply won't do.
What it needs is some help from Thing 1 and Thing 2.
(Whistling) Yee-haw!
(Giggling) (Giggling) BOTH: Hello!
Things, this wheely-dealy has a wheely big problem.
It won't spin!
Can you help?
BOTH: Uh-huh!
Wahoo!
(Giggling) (Grunting) (Grunting) Wait, I see the problem!
Look!
That wedge is stopping it from moving!
(Grunting) Let's see if I'm strong enough to pull it out.
(Grunting) Oh, no!
Whoo-hoo!
Whoa, whoa, whoa!
Come back, Things!
They can't!
They're going downhill!
Hurry, we need to catch up to them!
THINGS: Whee!
(Giggling) Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
(Giggling) Whoa!
BOTH: Whew.
(Gasping) Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
Whoa!
Uh-oh, they're coming right back!
Run!
(Grunting) Oh, they're never gonna stop rolling!
THINGS: Whoa!
(Screaming) (Grunting) Hooray!
Well, that's one way to stop it.
(Gasping) Did you see that, Nick?
When it was on its edge, it rolled like a ball.
But when it landed on its flat side, it slid and stopped!
Hmm.
Because flat sides don't roll; they slide!
Right, like the ramp!
Well, we've got to move the wheely-dealy back to its spot.
Hmm, are you strong enough to carry it?
I wonder.
Uh, Cat?
There might be an easier way.
Really?
Do tell.
We can roll it!
The same way it got here.
For helping move weight, there's no tool more ideal than a simple machine that is known as the wheel.
A simple machine?
Cat!
Did you know all along that this was a simple machine?
Well, I do know a lot about them.
