♪ Martin: In North America, just east of the Continental Divide, where the short grass Prairies meet the Rocky Mountain wilderness.
We're here at a special place we call Grizzly Gulch.
Chris: It's us the Kratt Brothers!
I'm Chris.
Martin: I'm Martin, and Grizzly Gulch is home to amazing wild animals that are an important part of the natural heritage of North America.
Chris: This refuge for wildlife was created by kids!
Martin: Working together with us and our non-profit Kratt Brothers Creature Heroes, this is the first wildlife refuge created through kid action.
Chris: C'mon!
♪ These creature cams help us keep track of the animals that live on the Grizzly Gulch Creaturefuge.
Martin: They automatically record any animal that wanders by it, any time, day or night.
Chris: This creature cam has been out here for a few days now.
Martin: And, whoever crossed this stream got their picture taken.
Chris: Let's see who's on it.
Martin: Oh, this is my favorite part.
Chris: Whoa, grizzly bear!
Martin: Hey, that looks like Brownie.
Chris: Yes!
And a moose!
(laughs) Martin: I think it's Twiggly.
Chris: Remember Big Howler crossed the same stream last winter.
Martin: These cameras are keeping track of the wild creatures all over the refuge.
Chris: And some of the animals, like this momma bear and cub are radio collared for scientific research.
All of the animals have a wild home, here at Grizzly Gulch.
Martin: And thanks to the creature powers of kids who made it all happen.

The brothers disappeared again!
Aviva: (sighs) Well, I'll need to re-sync their power suits with the update I've been working on.
By improving the efficiency of the Creature Power Suit Capacitor, I've figured out a way to increase the overall activation capacity of the power suits.
Jimmy Z: Say what?
Sounds more techno than the controller rack I'm making.
(heavy sigh) Aviva: If we use the suits too much without resting them, it could reach the red zone where they overheat and shut down.
Jimmy Z: A malfunction?
Aviva: Worse.
No function.
But as long as there's some time between activations for them to rest, we stay in the green zone and it's no problem.
We just can't do too many activations all at once.
Koki: Hey, the needle moved.
That means there's been an activation.
Aha!
The brothers must be using their suits right now.
Bros, what's happening?
Chris: Creature Rescue in progress, Koki.
Martin: This tiny hummingbird egg fell out of its tiny hummingbird nest.
So we're putting it back while it's still tiny hummingbird warm.

Martin: There ya go.

Aviva/Koki/Jimmy Z: Ahhhh... (climbing effort) (hummingbird chirps) Chris: Is that better mama hummingbird?

Melissa: We've had some wildfires here in southern Australia, and the koala's forest home burned down.
He's really distressed and needs to be saved.

For shelter, food, protection and everything else they need.
Melissa: And now Koala Balloon has no home.
Chris: We need to find him a new home, a new eucalyptus forest to live in.
Melissa: Yah, hey, there's one nearby that didn't get burned.
Martin: Great so now we just need to get him there and get him something to eat - fast!
Melissa: But he's so scared...he won't move.
Chris: No problem.
I'll activate Eucalyptus power.
That way he'll come to us.
Aviva: And I made the suit with edible leaves.
He'll love that.

(momma bear grunts) Martin: We'll move out, momma's coming in.

Karl: Yeah, their home berry thicket is too close to the new road, and it's going to be mowed down soon.
So the bears are going to have to find food somewhere else.

Ya know, I'm glad I invented those suits.
Sometimes I wonder how we would ever do all these rescues without them.
(warning beeping) ♪ Nina: (gasps) They're hatching!

Nina: The hatching has started, but I don't think we're ready.

They do, to make their epic trek down the beach to their ocean home.

Koki: Ah yes, scientists have discovered that turtles are drawn to the bright reflections of the moon and sun coming from their ocean home.

Nina: Because the people in town are gonna start turning on their lights.
Koki: So, the baby turtles will get confused?

Juma: A rhino calf is in trouble.
My mom's a park ranger and she helps protect the wild black rhinos from poachers, who try to take their horns.
Black rhinos are one of the most endangered animals in Africa, and there aren't many left.
Aviva: Wow, that's important work.
You're so lucky to live near rhinos.
Juma: We also raise baby rhinos who've lost their moms.
Aviva: Aww.
How cute.
You little treasures are the future of the entire species.

How can we help all these baby turtles go the right way?
To the ocean.
Nina: Well, we know they're attracted to the light from the moon glistening on the ocean, but those lights from town are confusing them.
So, if we could somehow turn off those lights, the little turtles won't be confused.
Maybe if other people know that, they'll want to help the baby turtles too.
Koki: Yes!
You're onto something.
Nina: I got it!
I know how to help.

Koki: Go Nina go!

Martin: OK Karl, it's a good thing that elk shed their antlers, and mine fell off just before my power suit fritzed out.

But it doesn't seem like this bear cub understands that if she just climbs the antlers, she can get out.
(bear cub cries) Karl: Maybe, there's a way we can get her going to want to start climbing.
Martin: Yes, great idea, Karl.
We need to show her the way.
(gasps) And look!
Karl: The Miniaturizer?
Martin: Oh yeah, I may not have Creature Powers, but I still can miniaturize.
Karl: Cool!
♪ Martin: I'm going undercover, mini-sized, to see if I can help that bear cub figure this out.
Martin/Karl: Miniaturize!
♪ Martin: Ok, I'm going to give that idea of yours a little mini push.
Karl: Whoohoo!

♪ (sparking) Aviva: Ok, all the burnt out radio data chips are replaced, and run system diagnostic.
That'll take a while to run, but if all the hardware is fixed, we can reboot the CPS capacitator and get those suits back online.
Now let's find that little rhino.
Juma: I don't know how!
Aviva: Well, you know a lot about rhinos, right?
Juma: Sure, but that doesn't mean I know where Tip Top is.
Aviva: Maybe it does...
I mean, use your knowledge of rhinos, to think more like a rhino.
Imagine where you might go if you were a rhino calf.
Juma: Hmmm... Well, we feed them milk, and she loves acacia leaves.
They're a rhino favorite.
Aviva: Great!

Juma: So, let's go where there are acacia leaves!
