Hey it's us, the Kratt brothers!

I'm Martin.

And I'm Chris, and we're hereon the African Savannah in the habitatof the wild elephant.

With some elephantswho know next to nothing about beingwild elephants.

They're all orphans.

They never learned howto survive in the wild because their momswere killed by poachers.

This is Naipoki.

(Laughing) Hey!

What are you,about ten months old?

This is Sities.

She's about a year old, but already she's biggerand stronger than I am.

Baby elephants are taughtsurvival skills from their motherand other herd members.

But these orphan elephants, they don't haveany family to teach them, so they're taughtwhat they need to know here at the SheldrickElephant Orphanage.

And it's people who are teachingthem survival skills.

And to unleashtheir elephant powers, so some day they can returnto the African savannah.

Living freeand in the wild.

MARTIN:Hey, where's everybody going?

Whoa, they move fast!

CHRIS:It's a stampede!

Off to a mud bath!

Wow, they just love this!

They kick it up, they make it niceand frothy, and they loveto roll in it!

Whoa!

They are in play mode.

We don't want to getin the middle of that.

We'll take our mud bathwhen they're done.

(Both laughing) After the mud bathcomes the dust bath.

It gets rid of bugs,it protects from the sun, it's a natural sunscreen, and you can tellthese little elephants are feeling great right now.

Even at this young age,elephants are so powerful.

The trunk, the size,the strength...

Imagine if we couldcompare the creature powers of different animalsin head-to-head contests.
