The bros encounter a burrowing owl and learn about its ways of catching prey
Chris and Martin are riding on insect-like vehicles until when they come across a burrowing owl who has just caught a lizard. They follow the owl back to its burrow where it hoards different things such as seeds, animal dung and feathers, that insects like to hide under. This way, it is able to attract prey rather than always having to hunt for it.

- This trail goes all over the place.
It's like they were taking the long way to town or something.
(energetic music) - Whoa, a burrowing owl.
He got a collared lizard.
These burrowing owls are masters at catching insects, lizards, small mammals, and-- - Hey, that's pretty amazing.
Nothing like a cool creature distraction as we follow the seed trail.
Hey get back here with that seed.
Don't you mess up our trail.
Stop thief!
What's all this stuff at his doorstep?
Shells, feathers, seeds, oh even mammal dung, uh a beetle, amazing, you owls don't only hunt, you attract food right to your doorstep.
These beetles eat dung and they live and hide under all kinds of things.
So the beetles come here thinking aw it's a great place to be, then you owls gobble them up.
Hey but just don't take those seeds okay.
We need that seed trail to follow our friends.
