Chris worries he has been bitten by a snake which turns out to be a burrowing owl
Chris sticks his hand inside a burrow and, suddenly, he and Martin heard a sound which they think is coming from a rattlesnake. The sound stops and Martin worries the rattlesnake will bite Chris so he runs to the other side of the burrow and tries to stop it from doing so. Instead of a rattlesnake however, the animal inside the burrow turns out to be a burrowing owl.

(rattling) - Uh oh!
- Don't move, that's not a good sound.
- Yeah I'd say a rattlesnake rattling at my hand is definitely not good.
- Especially if he stops making the warning sound and decides to strike.
- Yeah that would be even more not good.
- I'll see if I can coax him out.
Hey rattlesnake we didn't mean to bug you we just... Chris its an-- (bite) - Ow.
He got me.
I'm done, finished, the venom of the rattler is coursing through my veins, I can feel it.
- Uh Chris, wait a sec.
- Can't wait, I don't have much longer.
(sad music) Goodbye brother of mine.
I'm feeling weak.
- Uh Chris, it wasn't a rattlesnake.
It was an owl.
- Huh?
- That guy.
- That guy?
A burrowing owl.
- Yes, another desert elf, and this one lives underground.
(upbeat music) - And is also happy to be out in the day time.
Who said our owl adventure was on hold.
