Wild Kratts
Just How Nature Works
Clip | 1m 36sVideo has Closed Captions
Chris apologizes to Baby Tooth for ruining his pack's hunt and saving their prey.
Chris runs over to the wolf den where Baby Tooth, the wolf pup, is waiting. He apologizes for messing up Baby Tooth's pack hunt, because he knows he needs to eat. He tells Baby Tooth that humans sometimes have a hard time understanding predators, because we feel sorry for the prey. But we know that predator-prey is just the way it works in nature. Chris says he's on Baby Tooth's side, too!

Chris?
Chris!
CHRIS: I'’’m coming, Baby Tooth!
I'’’m so sorry, Baby Tooth.
Your pack was getting food for you, and oh...
I messed up the hunt.
Aw, I know you need to eat.
See, we humans have a hard time understanding predators sometimes.
We feel sorry for the prey.
But we know predator/prey is just the way it works in nature.
We'’’re on your side too, little buddy.
(Howling) Hmm?
The pack, they'’’re back!
With dinner!
Yes!
They did it!
I'’’m getting back in with the pack.
Arctic wolf power!
(Zapping) Green Wolf to Blue Ox.
Come in, Blue Ox.
This is Blue Ox.
Go, Green Wolf.
What do you say we hang out here on the tundra for a while longer?
Sure, it'’’ll be summer for a few more weeks.
Might as well stay while it'’’s warm, and I'’’m pretty in with the herd now.
Oof!
Whoa!
(Groaning) I'’’ll just take a little rest.
(Chuckling) Sounds like a plan!
(Barking)
