Chris and Martin face off against a pack of wolves and just when things are looking bad, a herd of musk oxen arrive to help! The herd uses its protective circle to fend off the wolves, who decide to retreat after some of them get hurt by the oxen's powerful horns.

Oh, it'’’s here!
CHRIS: Musk ox to the rescue!
MARTIN: Oh, they came looking for you, Kid Musky!
Now this is how it'’’s done!
The classic musk ox protective circle.
Everybody shoulder to shoulder with horns facing outward, and the calf protected in the centre.
A fortress that'’’s pretty hard for the wolves to penetrate.
They'’’ll test it anyway.
(Growling) (Roaring) Ooh, those horns are sharp.
(Yipping) MARTIN: And really strong.
Ooh, ouch!
Aww, getting food can be super dangerous for a predator.
They can get serious injuries, and even die.
The wolves haven'’’t given up yet.
MARTIN: Their defense is working!
(Yipping) CHRIS: It'’’s a battle for survival!
MARTIN: Back off, wolf!
CHRIS: That'’’s it, they'’’ve had enough.
