For a century, the dense forests of northeastern Washington have been a place where wild lands and human spaces blend — and wolves and ranchers have been at odds over them ever since. Wolf-protecting cowboy” Daniel Curry rides the line between these cultures in search of common ground, tracking wolf packs and using non-lethal methods to deter them from attacking and killing livestock.
