The State of Mississippi uses the latest in telemedicine to monitor diabetes patients.

Mississippi has one of the highest rates of diabetes in the U.S. To help manage this deadly disease, the State of Mississippi helped fund the Diabetes Health Network, which has patients record their health information on electronic tablets and beam the information back the Center for Telehealth where it can be monitored by a physician.
