Washington State has proposed a tax that could help reduce their carbon footprint.

Washington State has proposed a tax on carbon emissions for both residents and big businesses, following the lead of roughly 20 countries worldwide. In Canada’s British Columbia, they have seen a 13 percent decrease in fossil fuel consumption since their carbon tax took effect. Take a look at the Washington proposal including alternate energy options.
