Just six weeks after Devique McWilliams was born he was diagnosed with life-threatening meningitis. The doctors were not optimistic about his survival but even as a baby, Devique showed his inner strength and determination. He survived, but because of his illness his speech and learning abilities were delayed. But Devique did not let this get in the way of his dreams.
