Haiti Quake: Improvisation Amid the Chaos BY FRONTLINE/World Editors
After suffering the worst earthquake in a century, the scale of Haiti's devastation is still unfolding. The nation has no electricity, cell phone coverage and land lines are down, but Paolo Chilosi, who runs Multilink, an internet provider in Port-Au-Prince, is keeping the internet running with solar power and batteries.
He says it's virtually the only way people are able to connect with each other right now.
FRONTLINE/World's Charlotte Buchen spoke over webcam with him and his wife, Myrtho, a private doctor who has been treating scores of wounded as best she can at a makeshift hospital on the street.
