ARLINGTON, VA; November 3, 2021— Today, PBS announced several promotions within its Digital & Marketing, Technology & Operations, Foundation and Human Resources functions.
Digital & Marketing
Jonathan Perkes has been named Vice President of Distribution Infrastructure & Operations. In this expanded role, Perkes will be responsible for oversight and management of the essential staff at PBS’s Network Operations Center (NOC), Satellite Operations Center (SOC), Engineering/Technical Maintenance and the Technology Center’s technical facilities. His leadership was instrumental as these teams transitioned to the Digital & Marketing department, and he will lead the digital transformation of PBS’s broadcast operations as the technology continues to evolve. Perkes will report to Scott Nourse, Senior Vice President of Product & Innovation.
Technology & Operations (T&O)
Maura McKinley-Tull has been promoted to serve as Vice President of Software Development & Operations and will report directly to PBS Chief Technology Officer Rhonda Holt. In her new role, McKinley-Tull will provide technology leadership and strategic direction for Software Development and Operations within T&O. The scope of her new role will include Media and Enterprise software solutions, digital asset management, media product development and integration, and Information Technology. Moving forward, her organization will focus on modernizing PBS media systems and information technology infrastructure.
PBS Foundation
PBS Foundation has promoted Tia Graham to Vice President of Individual Giving. In this expanded role, she will continue to provide oversight of the organization’s Gift Planning function and manage a portfolio of current and prospective donors. She will supervise a growing cadre of principal gifts directors, whose primary responsibility is to secure gifts in support of PBS’s strategic priorities. Graham will report to Executive Director Brian Reddington and will partner with him to develop an annual operating plan to achieve PBS Foundation goals and objectives.
Human Resources
David Holden has been named Vice President of Total Rewards at PBS and will continue reporting to Mike Jacobson, Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Holden will be responsible for operational initiatives in support of PBS’s overall talent management strategy. In addition to leading compensation and benefits, Holden will manage HR operations and systems to support other primary areas of HR including talent acquisition, learning & development and HR Business Partner activities.
